👉 ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a WordPress Support Engineer, you will be our customers’ first point of contact, providing exceptional technical support and guidance. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Support includes pre-sales and post-sales questions and answers, CSS & JS customization, providing best practice advice.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to WordPress plugins and themes.
- Communicating with customers via HelpScout, chat, and occasionally through remote sessions.
- Collaborating with the development team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Assist customers in customizing and configuring plugins to meet their specific needs.
- Providing insights and feedback to improve our products and customer experience.
👉 KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in providing technical support for WordPress.
- Strong understanding of WordPress core functionality, eco-system, and popular plugins or page builders.
- Excellent problem-solving and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS (Advanced), JS, and PHP.
- Familiarity with debugging tools like browser developer tools, WP-CLI, and error logs.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple supports at a time.
👉 NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with WooCommerce and popular plugins and page builders.
- Familiarity with web hosting environments and server configurations.
