We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented WordPress QA Engineer Intern to join our team, ShapedPlugin, LLC. As an intern, you will work closely with our development team to ensure the quality and performance of our WordPress plugins. This role is ideal for someone passionate about WordPress, testing, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

👉 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test WordPress plugins to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues (mostly front-end).
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve plugin quality.
  • Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before release.
  • Document test results and provide clear feedback to the team.
  • Testing application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Stay updated on the latest WordPress standards and testing tools.

👉 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good understanding of WordPress core functionality, eco-system, WooCommerce, popular themes, and plugins.
  • Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and QA processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with GIT for version control will be a plus.
  • Passion for quality assurance and a desire to learn and grow.

  • Practical experience in WordPress plugin/theme testing.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics (effectively using color and typography).

JOB TYPE:

WORKING DAYS:

  • Weekly 5 days. Monday to Friday. 09 AM to 06 PM.

SALARY:

  • Salary range: up to BDT 20,000 (Depending on skill and knowledge).

JOB LOCATION:

  • Brahmanbaria (Swiss City, Kawtoli).
  • This position does not offer remote work options; it is an on-site job.
