👉 RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a WordPress QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our plugins. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a comprehensive QA checklist, executing test plans for our WordPress plugins, and ensuring work correctly.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking application defects and inconsistencies.
• Analyzing user feedback activities and enhancing the user experience of the product. 
• Providing timely suggestions to improve the application’s usability/UX.
• Writing descriptive bug reports clearly and concisely – you should be able to communicate efficiently with the developer team.
• Conducting backward compatibility testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Testing application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

👉 REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a WordPress QA Engineer, preferably in WordPress. 
• Strong experience in WordPress plugin testing for pixel-perfect UI/UX.
• Good understanding of WordPress core functionality, eco-system, WooCommerce, and popular plugins.
• In-depth understanding of standard testing practices like test case preparation, test execution, defect identification, and management.
• Ability to write clear bug/issue explanations, test cases, documentation, etc.
• Experience with manual testing and a great meticulous eye for detail.
• Can read and analyze frontend/backend (HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript) code.
• Good understanding of GitHub and the ability to submit PR for minor things.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

👉 NICE TO HAVE:

• Practical experience in WordPress plugin/theme testing.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics (effectively using color and typography).

• Salary range: up to BDT 50,000 (Depending on skill and knowledge).

• This position does not offer remote work options; it is an on-site job.
